SGP 800 is widely used for tableware jiggering molds on roller machine convex or small cavities.
SGP 800 is plasters noted for the good compromise of strength and abrasion resistance.
Gauging
· Gentle stirring by hand or clean mechanical mixer.
· Mixer with different blade type (size, shape), stirring time and speed, water purity and
plaster/water ratio have an influence on working time, mechanical strength and porosity of the hydrated plaster.
TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
Plaster/Water Ratio (P/W) = 100 : 60
Soaking Time = 1 min
Mixing Time = 4-5 mins
Initial Setting Time = 8-10 mins
Final Setting Time = 20-30 mins
Expansion Linear = 0.11
Mixing
· Use correct plaster/water ratio.
· Use clean bucket and blade.
· Sprinkle plaster into water slowly.
· Allow it to soak for one minute.
· Mix 5 minutes maximum, mechanically under vacuum (350-800 rpm)
Storage
· Bags must be kept dry in a closed room and must be stored so as to avoid direct contact with the ground, protected from moisture and condensation
· For the best protection, the plastic wrapping surrounding each pallet should be kept as long as possible.
· It is recommended that the product be used within 6 months of manufacturing date.
